Are The Planets Misaligned?

It has been a week. Some might blame it on Mercury in retrograde and I must confess I have considered that attribution. I have simply been noticing how everything has had the feeling of walking through mud or a very heavy haze.

At first, I thought it was just me and then I began to notice that almost everyone I knew was having a rather stop/start sort of week. Appointments being moved or forgotten. Delivery times moved. Arrival times delayed. Communication muddled and seemingly disjointed as if you were talking about two separate events.

My initial reaction was to go into muscle memory and believe that it was all real and annoying and upsetting. I even, for a brief moment, defaulted to making my crisis someone else’s problem. Luckily, I caught myself, made my amends and got on with it.

As soon as I recognized the pattern, I took a giant step back. Then a deep breath to help me recenter and remember it is all an illusion of my own making. It is always my choice how I react and interpret the world around me. It has helped enormously as I deal with the HOA manager who seems to be upset that she has been unable to make me wrong but keeps trying. Now that she is handling the problem I already solved and paid for she seems to think she is winning. Aren’t egos fun things?!!

Evidently Mercury is moving backwards through March 20, which is today. So enjoy the final swing and be grateful we will be travelling looking forward until at least July.
