Love

Why is there a scarcity of love?

This is a rather profound question, for in reality there is love abounding in the world and in the ethers of living. Love is all around you each and every moment but it is often not in the physical. Love is an energy. It is the transmuting of energetic support and calm. It is the knowing that all will be all right with the world and with life. It is knowing that you are never alone, for with love you have everything. Love does not have to come from another person to you or another thing to you. It is how you measure it, but this is not necessary or real. Love just is. That is it period. It just is. If you stand quietly in a room or space all alone and you allow (Ah, always the key word) your Self to just sit quietly and relax into the silence, you will feel love.

Love is the quiet that brings you calm. Love is the sweetness of knowing all is right. Love is the strength you derive from day-to-day living. Love is all there is. It is just like the Beatles’ song said, “All you need is love….Love is all you need.”

So why do most of you spend your lives seeking it outside of your Selves? What is it about another person showing you love that has more meaning than you showing it to your Self? Many of you derive love from “safe” sources, from small children or from pets. This is fine, but why can you not trust that if you were to love your Self fully and completely, without outside validation that this would be okay or suitable or sufficient? Most of you use the fact that you do not have someone or enough people outside of you loving you, so therefore you are not loveable. This is simply not true and yet many of you predicate your lives on believing or judging your Self to be “unlovable” or worse yet, not worthy of love. Everyone is worthy of love even the most heinous person deserves love because perhaps if they could feel the love they would not be so heinous.

Love is the energy that transmutes hatred. Love is the energy that brings lightness to the dark. Love is the healing process of allowing each Soul to reach out to another and give light. During this time of meditation and study of this message, take a few moments to extend love to the most important person in your world – You.

We leave you in much love and hope for your future feelings of being loved.

Namaste
